About the Role
We are seeking a Programs Launch Engineer to lead the successful introduction of new automotive products from quotation through production launch. This role is responsible for owning program execution and ensuring all technical, manufacturing, and operational requirements are delivered on time, at cost, and at quality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, execution-driven, and capable of managing multiple launches in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Own program launches from quotation through SOP, with full accountability for timing, cost, and quality
· Lead APQP execution and ensure all customer and internal deliverables are completed on time
· Drive shop floor launch readiness including tooling, processes, staffing, and training
· Lead trial builds, run-at-rate activities, and launch validation
· Serve as primary customer interface during launch phase
· Identify risks early and lead escalation with clear recovery plans
· Own SAP setup for new programs including BOMs, routings, and material masters
· Track and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and program changes
· Coordinate prototype builds and support quotation activities
· Ensure PPAP readiness and successful customer submission and approval
· Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Materials, and Purchasing teams
· Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
· 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or program launch roles
· Experience in automotive manufacturing environments
· Strong knowledge of APQP and AIAG Core Tools
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, heat treat, assembly)
· Experience with SAP, BOMs, routings, and engineering changes
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
· Strong project management and organizational skills
· Advanced English for business communication

Sueldo: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 al mes
