What will my responsibilities be?
- Prepare welding equipment (machines, electrodes, gases, protective materials).
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical specifications to perform metal joints.
- Perform welding processes such as MIG, TIG, SMAW (manual arc welding), among others.
- Prepare surfaces before welding (cleaning, beveling, alignment).
- Join metal parts using heat or pressure, applying the appropriate method.
- Control weld quality (visual inspection or through non-destructive testing).
- Perform basic maintenance of welding equipment.
- Comply with industrial safety and occupational health regulations.
- Record operations or report activities in logs or internal systems.
- Collaborate in the assembly of structures or metal assemblies.
