Primary Function of Position:
Under general supervision from the Senior Manager MX Trade Compliance, the Trade Compliance Analyst becomes responsible for applying trade compliance practices and policies within the business, identifying areas where they are out of compliance, and offering suggestions for how to make necessary modifications. This requires regular review and research into governing authorities’ current rules and regulations. including but not limited to data collection, data analysis, continuous improvement, processes efficiency, process planning standardization, projects development, and automation among others all Trade Compliance operation’s related activities and initiatives, including but not limited to data collection, data analysis, continuous improvement, processes efficiency, processes standardization, projects development, among others.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Upload the information related with part numbers, value, CoO, MX HTS & US HTS, description in English and Spanish, ECCN, Schedule B on Customs Inventory system.

Implement and maintain a document retention program regarding trade compliance.

Receive the NPSU from Customs Dept with COE's information and Customs broker classification and regulations.

Analyze customs data to identify patterns, irregularities, and compliance risks.

Create dashboards and reporting tools for customs operations and management teams.

Support audits and investigations by providing detailed data analysis and summaries.

Set up the code for Carta Porte for all the operations.

Evaluate the complete and accurate information between Customs Inventory system, DataStage (SAT) and customs broker.

Develop and refine data analytics models to forecast trends and optimize customs processes.

Design and implement various reports and prepare dashboards.

Review, update and keep the maintenance for the customs inventory system (annex 24).
