Expected Monthly Deliverables
You will be responsible for editing ONE of the following primary content formats per month, along with thumbnails and scheduling:
- Option A (Short-Form Focus): 8 Shorts / Reels / TikToks DAILY (repurposed from vlog/raw footage).
- OR
- Option B (Long-Form Focus): 3 Long-Form Videos per week (minimum 5 minutes each).
- Thumbnails: Custom thumbnail design for all published videos.
- Daily Meetings: Participate in daily stand-ups with the CEO to align on completed tasks, current pipeline, and upcoming schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Production: Access raw footage via Frame.io and turn it into polished, high-performing videos.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Use 2D animation, dynamic typography, and visual effects to improve watch time and visual engagement.
- Thumbnails & Graphics: Create eye-catching thumbnails and visual assets for all video assets.
- Content Scheduling & Management: Coordinate post schedules and collaborate on concepts/storyboards with the team.
- Quality Control: Ensure videos meet target deadlines, audio/color standards, and output formats across platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content, podcasts, and short-form video (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Proficiency in primary editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Solid grasp of 2D motion graphics, typography, visual effects, and basic graphic design.
- Proficiency in graphic/photo editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Canva, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of video codecs, formats, and optimal export settings for social platforms.
- High attention to detail, reliability with deadlines, and strong communication skills.
