Remote position
YOUR ROLE:
- Design, configure, develop, and deploy SCADA applications using the Ignition platform.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to deliver SCADA and system integration solutions aligned with project objectives.
- Configure and maintain SCADA components, including HMIs, alarms, historians, and communications with field devices.
- Develop and support integrations between Ignition and other manufacturing or enterprise systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure reliable and secure operations.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, Mechatronics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of experience developing, configuring, and supporting Ignition SCADA systems, and integrating SCADA systems with field devices and external manufacturing or business applications.
- Experience with Ignition Gateway administration, including system upgrades, backups, diagnostics, and user management.
- Hands-on experience with Ignition Vision and Perspective modules.
- Strong knowledge of Ignition tags, UDTs, alarming, historian, templates, and scripting.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java, including gateway and tag event scripting.
- Experience configuring device communications, OPC UA, MQTT, database connections, and Active Directory integration.
- Working knowledge of SQL queries.
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to have (but not necessary):
- Experience with Ignition Edge and Cirrus Link modules is a plus.
- Ignition Core or Gold Certification is a plus.
