Where You’ll Make a Difference
Support the implementation of the Process Safety Management (PSM) system across the Tlalnepantla site.
Coordinate Process Safety Committee meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
Monitor and maintain Process Safety performance indicators and statistical reports.
Assist in the development and updating of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Support Risk-Based Inspection activities in accordance with API 580 standards.
Participate in field Process Safety inspections and compliance assessments.
Assist with compliance activities related to NOM-028-STPS-2012 and NOM-026-STPS-2008 requirements.
Support the identification of explosive atmospheres (Ex Zones) and Process Safety improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the implementation of Zero Loss of Containment (ZLoC), Overfill Protection (OFP), CarSeal, and new employee Process Safety induction programs.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Student in the final year of studies with an active university insurance program.
Intermediate conversational English skills (mandatory).
Intermediate AutoCAD proficiency (mandatory).
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong interest in industrial safety, process safety, reliability, or manufacturing operations.
Ability to analyze technical information and solve problems systematically.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Availability to work onsite in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.
How Would You Stand Out?
Knowledge of PHA Works or PHA-Pro software.
Previous academic or internship exposure to industrial operations, process engineering, or safety programs.
Demonstrated critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
