We are looking for a skilled and motivated Android Software Engineer to become part of our mobile engineering team, taking ownership of building, optimizing and maintaining native Android applications powered by a modern tech stack built around Kotlin, crafting intuitive interfaces and solid backend integrations that deliver a smooth mobile experience for users, all while working closely with product managers, UX/UI designers and backend engineers to transform feature ideas into high-performing, reliable and scalable Android applications.
Responsibilities

Build and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin

Work with UI/UX designers to bring responsive and intuitive user interfaces to life following Material Design guidelines

Connect applications with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic content and features to mobile users

Produce clean, maintainable and testable code

Take part in code reviews to uphold quality standards and share knowledge across the team

Develop unit and UI tests to guarantee application stability

Analyze app performance to improve speed, battery consumption and memory usage

Support the preparation and release of application updates to the Google Play Store
Requirements
-
2+ years of experience in native Android application development

Solid proficiency in Kotlin along with deep knowledge of the Android SDK

Understanding of modern Android architecture components and design patterns such as MVVM, MVI and Clean Architecture

Knowledge of Dependency Injection with Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow

Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle and Git

Experience with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts

Experience with JUnit and Espresso for testing purposes

Capability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum team environment and collaborate through tools like Jira and Confluence

English proficiency at B2 level or higher
