- Define and implement sustainability strategies (emissions, energy, water, and waste reduction) per plant in collaboration with the Leadership Team
- Ensure compliance with environmental and energy legal requirements, including permits, reports, and operational conditions.
- Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations aligned with international best practices.
- Support inspections, visits, and audits from environmental government authorities (Federal, State and City).
- Develop and implement internal audit systems focused on environment and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 14001, Clean Industry.
- Coordinate environmental and energy training programs with local HR.
- Monitor and report environmental KPIs (waste, water, energy consumption, and compliance).
- Identify environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement technical and administrative controls, including environmental emergency response systems.
- Execute sustainability projects from CAPEX request through full implementation
