Failure Analysis Manager
Job Summary
The Failure Analysis (FA) Manager provides strategic leadership for the Failure Analysis organization, ensuring effective support for production, NPI programs, customer escalations, and long-term reliability improvements across all products and manufacturing stages. This role drives operational excellence, organizational growth, cross-functional collaboration, and technical resolution of critical product and process issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the FA organization strategy, roadmap, and growth plans.
- Establish KPIs, metrics, and operational objectives to drive performance and accountability.
- Align Sustaining, NPI, and Laboratory teams to ensure efficient execution and resource utilization.
- Lead customer escalation management and executive-level communications.
- Develop hiring, workforce, and capacity plans to support business growth.
- Prioritize and oversee resolution of critical technical issues, failures, and escalations.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Program Management to drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Represent the FA organization during customer visits, technical reviews, and business discussions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned programs, and reliability enhancements.
- Develop technical talent, succession plans, and a high-performance engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in Failure Analysis, Reliability, Quality, or Product Engineering.
- 3+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, reliability engineering, manufacturing processes, and customer escalation management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business-critical outcomes.
Sueldo: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 al mes
