NTD Software is seeking a high-energy negotiator to join our Carrier Sales team. This role is focused on the "growth and capacity" pillar of our business, securing the best carriers at the best rates to meet our clients' demands.
If you are a relationship-builder who thrives on negotiation and "closing the deal," we want you. Your goal is to navigate the market, find capacity where others can't, and manage the margins that drive our company forward.
Responsibilities
- Capacity Procurement: Source and negotiate rates with carriers to secure capacity for bids and one-off loads.
- Relationship Development: Identify, onboard, and grow relationships with fleet owners and transport managers.
- Market Analysis: Use DAT, ITS, and other market-costing services to analyze trends and identify profitable opportunities.
- Outreach: Conduct outbound calls (including cold calls) to expand our carrier network and secure additional capacity.
- Margin Management: Focus on key metrics including profit margin per load and successful capacity acquisition.
Requirements
- Schedule: Ability to work a rotating schedule: Mon-Fri 5-9 p.m. CST and Sat-Sun 8 a.m.–5 p.m. CST.
- Experience: Proven experience in carrier procurement, onboarding, and monitoring using web services.
- Sales DNA: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to thrive under deadline-driven pressure.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with DAT and ITS.
- Language: Advanced English proficiency to negotiate complex terms and build professional relationships.
- Environment: Dedicated home office with a stable internet connection.
