Job Summary
We are a US-based healthcare support services company seeking a compassionate, driven Medicaid Service Coordinator for a stable, long-term remote opportunity.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting outbound community outreach to residents in the Bronx, New York, to share information regarding free Medicaid support programs. You will answer questions, build trust, collect basic details, and refer interested individuals to our internal intake team. This role requires an empathetic communicator who enjoys speaking with people and can maintain accurate digital records.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Outreach: Conduct daily outbound calls to Bronx residents to introduce free Medicaid support programs.
- Relationship Building: Speak with elderly and low-income individuals with the utmost respect and empathy, answering questions clearly and building rapport quickly.
- Lead Referral: Gather basic information from interested individuals and seamlessly connect them with the internal intake team.
- Data & Documentation: Maintain meticulous, accurate notes within the computer system and follow up with potential leads as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Location: Must live and permanently reside in Latin America.
- Language: Strictly Bilingual. Must have native/fluent Spanish and excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) to converse with a diverse demographic and navigate US systems.
- Phone Communication: Highly comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and spending the majority of the day speaking with families on the phone.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to keep accurate digital notes.
- Work Environment: Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a completely quiet, distraction-free workspace at home.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, customer service, healthcare outreach, or similar phone-based roles is a plus.
