We are seeking a structured, analytical Senior Business Analyst to join our engineering department.
In this role, you will be the key translator between our business stakeholders and our software development teams. Your primary objective will be to understand complex business problems, analyze current workflows, and elicit detailed, high-quality requirements that our engineers can seamlessly transform into working software.
Responsibilities

Partner with business units, product managers, and users to gather, clarify, and document comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements

Analyze "as-is" business processes, identify pain points or inefficiencies, and design optimal "to-be" workflows to streamline operations

Translate business needs into clear, concise, and structured user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, using Gherkin/BDD where appropriate, for the development backlog

Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units, facilitating communication and managing expectations throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) and business users to validate that delivered software meets original business requirements, including support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or software development environment

Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for breaking down complex systems and processes into logical, easy-to-understand components

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa

Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working within sprint cycles

Proficiency in documenting requirements and workflows using tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, or similar platforms

Experience working in Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail domains

Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher
