Job Description
We are seeking an Accountant Jr. Specialist with proven experience in general accounting, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the professional maturity required to execute accounting processes with precision and adherence to global standards.
This position is ideal for a professional with a solid early-career background who is looking to grow within a structured and demanding corporate environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Record accounting entries and ensure proper account classification.
- Perform bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and follow-up on outstanding items.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, monthly closings, and corporate reports.
- Manage and record accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review invoices, validate tax information, and ensure compliance with SAT requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, regulatory reports, and audit documentation.
- Maintain updated accounting files and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with internal areas such as purchasing, administration, finance, and global corporate teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting within corporate or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of:
- General accounting
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoicing and tax requirements
- Accounts payable / accounts receivable
- Month-end closing processes
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, intermediate functions).
- Experience with accounting systems (SAP, COI, CONTPAQi, or others).
- Key skills: analytical thinking, organization, attention to detail, professional ethics, responsibility, and adherence to processes.
