About the Role
We are looking for a Google Ads Conversion Tracking Specialist to support client integrations, ensure accurate conversion tracking, and maintain data integrity across platforms. This role is critical for launching and optimizing advertising campaigns, ensuring that every lead and conversion is properly tracked to drive performance and revenue. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, technically skilled, and proactive in troubleshooting tracking and attribution issues.
Responsibilities
Tracking & Data Integration
- Implement, test, and validate conversion tracking across Google Ads, Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, and other ad platforms to ensure accurate data collection and attribution.
- Implement Enhanced Conversions to improve conversion accuracy and data visibility.
- Manage CRM integrations (e.g., HighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce) to pass data to Google Ads.
- Ensure data accuracy and seamless reporting from client backend systems to Google Ads.
- Configure and troubleshoot web event tracking, UTM parameters, and data-layer structures.
Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Identify and resolve tracking discrepancies, broken pixels, and attribution mismatches.
- Diagnose offline conversion tracking issues and ensure proper attribution across platforms.
- Conduct regular tracking audits to maintain accuracy as campaigns scale.
- Optimize event tracking and first-party data strategies to future-proof attribution models.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Work closely with client managers to ensure tracking aligns with campaign goals.
- Provide technical documentation and guidance for implementation.
- Stay updated on privacy changes, cookie tracking limitations, and attribution shifts to adapt tracking strategies accordingly.
Screening Criteria
- Proficiency in web tracking, CRM integrations, and conversion tracking.
- Experience setting up tracking for Google Ads, Meta, and other paid media platforms.
- Strong expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, and Enhanced Conversions.
- Ability to troubleshoot attribution issues and data discrepancies across platforms.
- Understanding of UTM parameters, web event tracking, and data-layer structures.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
