Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function for our new manufacturing plant in Queretaro. This role will encompass the entire employee lifecycle, from hiring to retirement, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles within the plant.
- Manage the hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Conduct comprehensive background verification for all potential employees in adherence to local laws and company policies.
Onboarding and Training:
- Design and execute an engaging onboarding program that familiarizes new employees with the company culture and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and provide appropriate development opportunities.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive workplace environment that encourages open communication and employee engagement.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure that all HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations in Mexico.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company values and legal requirements.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in implementing performance appraisal processes and development plans for employees.
- Monitor employee performance and provide guidance on performance improvement strategies.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee payroll administration and employee benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Regularly review and recommend changes to compensation structures as needed.
Health and Safety:
- Collaborate with the safety team to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Mexican labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in recruitment and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) is mandatory.
