The Buyer Planner is responsible for planning, purchasing, and monitoring material availability to ensure customer demand is met on time while maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Plan material requirements and execute purchasing activities based on business demand.

Monitor and follow up on material deliveries between manufacturing plants to ensure on-time availability.

Provide accurate delivery updates and lead-time information to the Customer Service team.

Expedite critical materials to minimize production and customer service disruptions.

Manage and monitor Backlog and Past Due orders, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Plan and procure materials for both Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) products.

Participate in problem-solving meetings with sister plants to resolve supply chain issues and improve material flow.

Manage excess and obsolete inventory, identifying opportunities to optimize inventory levels.

Create, release, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP with suppliers and supplying plants.

Maintain accurate planning parameters in SAP, including delivery dates, Lead Times, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), and other purchasing data.

Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure operational objectives are achieved.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
