We are looking for a Junior Functional Tester to join our team. In this position, you will help safeguard the quality and dependability of software solutions across a range of platforms. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to shaping effective testing strategies and enable the delivery of top-tier products.
Responsibilities

Run functional test cases to verify application behavior and alignment with business requirements

Establish and apply defect management processes to secure timely resolution

Produce the necessary documentation to support test completion and traceability

Carry out quality risk assessment and management to focus testing on the most critical areas

Spot potential automation workflows to increase testing efficiency

Grasp and apply international testing practices across the software development lifecycle, relying on quality risk analysis as a baseline for test prioritization

Create and put in place software quality metrics to gauge product reliability

Recommend changes or new features based on test outcomes and observations

Compile and share progress reports to keep stakeholders informed about testing status

Log and monitor defects to ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution

Prepare and share defect reports containing the necessary details for effective remediation

Guide and coordinate work teams to advance testing activities and deliverables
Requirements
-
No less than 1 year of applicable professional experience in software testing or a related field

Background in testing for mobile platform projects

Preferred and demonstrable experience applying AI to support testing activities
-
Awareness of various testing effort estimation approaches for planning testing workloads
-
Practical experience creating test strategies and plans aligned with project objectives

Working knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, and Zephyr

Active involvement in the team's agile practice events, including ceremonies and collaborative sessions

Contribution to shaping acceptance criteria for user stories or requirements
-
Capability to build test strategies and plans based on user stories defined by the team

Experience crafting both functional and non-functional test cases to achieve wide coverage

Hands-on experience testing APIs for back-end validation
-
Background in testing native iOS and tvOS applications across a variety of scenarios

Strong written and spoken command of English and Spanish at a B2 level or above
