Position Summary
Parker Hannifin is seeking a General Import Export Coordinator to support import and export operations by coordinating planning, material availability, order follow-up, compliance activities, and cross-functional communication across the supply chain.
This role is responsible for supporting the timely flow of materials, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and helping ensure import/export activities are executed in alignment with business priorities, customer requirements, regulatory standards, and Parker Hannifin operational expectations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate general import and export activities to support production, customer service, supplier requirements, and business priorities.
Support planning and follow-up of materials, purchase orders, manufacturing orders, and customer-related shipments to ensure timely execution.
Monitor open orders, purchase requisitions, inbound and outbound materials, and shipment status to identify risks, delays, or compliance issues.
Communicate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Warehouse, Customer Service, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to resolve operational constraints.
Support material availability and supply planning by coordinating priorities based on demand, inventory levels, production needs, and delivery commitments.
Maintain accurate import/export, order, shipment, and material information in internal systems and related tracking tools.
Follow up on documentation required for import and export transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing.
Support compliance with applicable trade, customs, logistics, and internal company requirements.
Track and communicate key operational indicators related to order status, backlog, delivery performance, inventory availability, and shipment execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow, order visibility, communication, compliance, and service performance.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in import/export coordination, logistics, materials planning, purchasing, supply chain, or order follow-up within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of import/export processes, customs documentation, logistics coordination, purchase orders, material follow-up, and order management.

Experience working with ERP systems; JDE experience preferred.

Familiarity with inventory management, production planning, supplier follow-up, freight coordination, and compliance requirements preferred.

Ability to analyze order status, material availability, inventory levels, shipment priorities, and operational performance metrics.

Intermediate Excel or data analysis skills.

Strong communication and follow-up skills with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and customer-facing functions.

Ability to work cross-functionally, prioritize effectively, and respond with urgency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

English proficiency preferred.
