We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer - AI to join the Assurance Agent team, building the AI agent layer of an automated security vulnerability detection and remediation platform. Working primarily in Python with Google ADK, you will design and deploy intelligent agents that operate across the client's engineering estate. BMAD methodology and spec-driven development are the foundations of how this team works.
Responsibilities

Build and deploy AI agents using Google ADK (Python), including agent definition, tool creation, skill composition and multi-agent orchestration

Design agentic workflows that identify, triage and remediate security vulnerabilities autonomously

Collaborate with Java and React engineers to integrate agent capabilities into the broader Assurance platform

Apply spec-driven development practices, ensuring every feature starts from a spec and every implementation is traceable to it

Contribute to architectural decisions on agent design patterns, execution strategies and platform reliability

Operate independently across distributed, cross-functional teams
Requirements

3+ years of experience in Python engineering at a lead/senior level

Hands-on experience with Google ADK, including agent creation, tool and skill definition, and multi-agent workflows

Proficiency in BMAD methodology

Experience with spec-driven / documentation-first development practices

Capability to operate independently across distributed, cross-functional teams

English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have

Familiarity with AI agentic frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain Background in security tooling — SAST, DAST, SCA, or vulnerability management platforms Working knowledge of TypeScript, React or Java Experience with GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Vertex AI)
