We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and support scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise monitoring solutions within a Microsoft Azure environment. This role requires a self-starter who can operate independently, take ownership of initiatives, and drive solutions from concept through implementation.
The ideal candidate will bring deep SQL expertise, strong Azure platform experience, and a proven ability to develop comprehensive observability and monitoring frameworks that improve system reliability, performance, and operational visibility.
- Design, build, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and DevOps processes.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support efficient application deployment and release management.
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade observability, monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions across the environment.
- Establish proactive monitoring practices to improve system uptime, reliability, and incident response.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
- Analyze system performance metrics and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure platform stability and scalability.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management best practices.
- Create operational dashboards, reporting, and monitoring standards to support business and technical stakeholders.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts across infrastructure, application, and database environments.
- 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Expert-level SQL Server knowledge, including:
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning
- Indexing strategies
- Stored procedures
- Database troubleshooting
- Monitoring and diagnostics
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD pipeline development
- Infrastructure automation
- PowerShell and/or scripting languages
- Proven experience building end-to-end observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Experience with tools such as:
- Azure Monitor
- Log Analytics
- Application Insights
- Grafana
- Splunk
- Datadog
- Similar enterprise monitoring platforms
- Strong understanding of system performance, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments.
- Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Experience implementing automated operational and monitoring frameworks.
