SMTAutomation is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support an upcoming remote project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing electrical systems using EPLAN 2025 and be familiar with General Motors (GM) electrical standards.
This is a fully remote contract opportunity with an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics using EPLAN 2025.
- Develop and modify electrical drawings for industrial automation projects.
- Ensure designs comply with GM electrical standards.
- Collaborate remotely with engineering and project teams.
- Deliver accurate and high-quality documentation within project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an Electrical Designer in industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with EPLAN 2025.
- Must have an active EPLAN 2025 license. (Required)
- Experience working on General Motors (GM) projects.
- Strong understanding of GM electrical standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- GM Certification (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience supporting automotive manufacturing projects.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation standards.
