Project Engineer - Job Responsibilities
1. Project Documentation & Support
- Assist in maintaining daily project logs, RFIs, submittals, and document control.
- Help prepare and track submittals and material deliveries for concrete pours.
- Document field changes, concrete pour logs, and related reports accurately.
2. Field Coordination
- Observe and support field layout, concrete forming, placement, and finishing activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Assist in quality assurance checks and inspections for concrete pours.
3. Scheduling & Planning
- Help develop and maintain short-term construction schedules.
- Monitor progress against schedule and assist in adjusting timelines based on field conditions.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Participate in job site safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
- Learn and apply OSHA standards and company safety procedures on site.
5. Learning & Development
- Shadow senior engineers and superintendents to understand field and office workflows.
- Engage in training on construction materials, techniques, and software tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Construction and Project Engineering.
- Availability to work on-site
- English is a must.
