We are looking for a dedicated Senior Python Engineer to come on board with our team.
This position is centered on improving cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and engineering practices in an AWS-oriented environment. The role gives you the chance to lead meaningful migrations, support AI-enabled engineering improvements, and help build secure, scalable platform foundations.
Responsibilities

Function within a spec-driven software development lifecycle

Develop AI-powered enhancements for design, delivery, and triage processes

Examine new tools and solutions as possible candidates for enterprise-level AI enablement offerings

Design, implement, and maintain AWS Lambda services and API Gateway endpoints with Python and boto3
-
Lead the CI/CD movement away from legacy cicd-functions pipelines toward GitHub Actions workflows
-
Handle infrastructure as code mainly through Terraform, with support from Serverless frameworks

Carry out brownfield refactors, service shutdowns, and migrations, including OAuth migrations, WAF block-mode rollouts, and Mythos SAST/SCA remediations

Configure and adjust AWS WAF rules while addressing security issues uncovered by SAST and SCA tooling
-
Improve operational workflows and back agentic platform initiatives, with experience in n8n, LangChain, or comparable orchestration tools regarded as an advantage

Partner with the SRE Consultant on telemetry gaps and Lambda-based data collection automation
Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant professional background
-
Python development experience focused on AWS Lambda and API Gateway in production settings

Strong working knowledge of boto3 across services such as IAM, Secrets Manager, SSM, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and WAF
-
Hands-on Terraform expertise for production-level infrastructure as code, covering writing, refactoring, and reviewing modules

Practical familiarity with the Serverless Framework, including supporting and migrating legacy stacks

Hands-on construction of CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, with willingness to lead a cicd-functions to GHA transition

Experience defining AWS WAF rules, enabling block mode, and contributing to incident response efforts

Knowledge of security tooling such as SAST and SCA, plus exposure to a structured compliance program

Brownfield approach with a proven history of migrations, decommissions, and refactors rather than greenfield work

Excellent oral and written English communication skills (B2+ level or higher)
Nice to have

Background in linking internal and third-party systems via REST APIs, including patterns such as ServiceNow OAuth client credentials flows

Knowledge of Snowflake for cloud data warehousing, analytics, and data platform integration
