We require an HS Engineer who will strengthen LS Cable & System’s industrial safety culture through the implementation of preventive programs, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance. The role operates under the guidelines of ISO 45001, ensuring safe processes, operational discipline, and personnel protection.
PROFILE
- Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energies, or related field
- 25 to 35 years old
- 4 to 6 years of experience in environmental management
- Technical conversational English
- Availability to respond to incidents and provide operational support
REQUIRED
- ISO 14001 Internal Auditor
- Knowledge of environmental regulations (municipal, state, and federal)
- Knowledge of environmental licenses (federal and state)
- Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) management
- Emissions and carbon footprint calculation
- Management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
- Emergency plan management
- Problem analysis and resolution
- Emergency brigade management
- Environmental and Health & Safety Committees
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluation of environmental aspects and impacts
- Training internal/external personnel on environmental topics
- Supplier and contractor management
- Wastewater treatment plant administration
- Management and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
- Environmental Management System (EMS) documentation control
- State and federal COA reporting
- Follow-up on corrective actions and continuous improvement plans
- Organizing environmental campaigns
