About the role:
The Fraud Controls Intern will support research to identify potential threats and minimize exposure to financial loss. Your responsibilities will be to assist with data analytics to improve our ability to prevent, detect, and mitigate fraud; to improve automation to alert Fraud Analysts of potentially fraudulent transactions and to assist in drafting requirements, develop new tools and reports to improve Fraud Mitigation efficiency. The successful candidate will gain the experience to understand how to detect patterns, detect threshold crossings, and detect fraudulent anomalies.
In this role you will:
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies, spot fraud, and eliminate suspicion
- Write reports, and document evidence, findings, and recommendations
- Determine existing fraud trends by analyzing accounts and transaction patterns
- Production of high-quality accurate reports
- Develop and maintain Fraud databases
What makes You an ideal candidate?
- Active Students in Bachelor on programming and/or strong background in Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.}
- Be 1 year apart from your graduation date (Graduating in June 2027 or December 2027)
- Availability Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm
- Analytical skills to work quickly through data and record findings accurately
- Proficient communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Languages required: English

Additional Knowledge and Skills
Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
- Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
