Business Analyst / QA Tester (Remote – Mexico)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / QA Tester to join a collaborative technology team supporting enterprise applications and digital solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working closely with business stakeholders, translating business needs into functional requirements, and ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing.
This is a 100% remote position for candidates based in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Create user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Track defects, validate fixes, and support production releases.
- Assist with process improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Support Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Tester, Systems Analyst, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience writing business requirements, user stories, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on experience with functional testing and UAT.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL and data validation.
- Familiarity with API testing and system integrations.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise applications.
- Background in media, digital advertising, broadcasting, or marketing technology is a plus.
- ISTQB, CBAP, CCBA, or related certifications are a plus.
