Estamos buscando Técnicos/as de operación para respaldar los centros de datos de colocación. Como Técnico/a de operaciones, tendrás la oportunidad de ser responsable de supervisar el mantenimiento de todos los equipos eléctricos, mecánicos y de seguridad dentro del centro de datos. Podrás apoyar a Amazon con tu experiencia y conocimientos técnicos dentro de los centros de datos de colocación.
Los/las Técnicos/as de operaciones también tienen la tarea de impulsar la innovación y reducir los costos operativos en las instalaciones. Son el primer punto de contacto para resolver problemas eléctricos y mecánicos que afectan la disponibilidad del centro de datos. Este equipo incluye, pero no se limita a generadores diésel de reserva y sistemas de combustible relacionados, tableros/interruptores, UPS, STSS, FPCS PDU, DAHU, CRAHU, CRAC, bombas, motores, VFD, ENFRIADORES y sistemas de automatización de edificios.

- Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls)
- Knowledge of generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, and fan controls
- 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.) experience
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience within mechanical or electrical area
- Knowledge of safe electrical practices according to guidelines set by relevant electrical safety supervisory bodies (e.g., ECSSAI and RECI in Ireland)
- Experience leading and managing operations of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- 1+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities experience
