What You'll Be Responsible For
As our Strategic Sourcing Manager, you'll lead initiatives that directly impact the company's success by:
- Developing sourcing strategies that support manufacturing operations in Mexico and North America
- Identifying and qualifying world-class suppliers
- Negotiating pricing, contracts, and long-term supplier agreements
- Driving cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
- Building strategic supplier relationships that improve quality, delivery, and performance
- Supporting new product launches, supplier transitions, and manufacturing expansion
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance
- Identifying supply chain risks while implementing proactive mitigation strategies
- Leading supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
We're seeking professionals who have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of progressive sourcing or procurement experience
- 3+ years leading strategic sourcing initiatives
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience sourcing components such as:
- Metal fabrication
- Injection molded plastics
- Electronics
- Machined components
- Packaging
- Contract manufacturing
- Experience supporting maquiladora operations is highly desirable
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required)
- Must have ability to travel in Mexico and to US regularly
- Must live close to Reynosa or daily commutable distance in Mexico or US
Preferred certifications include:
- APICS / ASCM (CPIM or CSCP)
- CPSM or CPM
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
