About the Job:
As CAD Lead Engineer, you will be responsible to execute small, medium and complex projects leading a team to achieve program milestones in time, this position plays important role within Engineering area taking decisions, handling and delegating activities with CAD designers, excellent knowledges to develop new products that permit to apply design best practices with 3D CAD, 2D drawings tools, pre-concept preparation guidance, excellent planning to align main milestones and deliverables to achieve projects in time. You will drive collaboration with cross-functional teams like production, manufacture and others to establish target dates with engineering team. You will serve an expert to guide and mentoring team members with less experience.
What You’ll do:

Contribute to product development projects by delivering 3D CAD designs, Engineering 2D drawings, Creation and management of EBOMs, prototyping to validate solutions, material selections, assembly sequence definition, release workflow process for production, concepts creation, guide-lines and best practices documentation.
- Lead design and guidance for process methodologies like design for manufacturing, design for reliability, design for service etc.

Conduct technical analyses and reviews with cross-functional support and apply findings to improve the quality of our designs.

Identify areas for improvements in the design process, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive best practices for our design team.

Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project leads and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

Monitor and apply latest industry design tools and master advance skills such as modelling and referencing large assemblies, laser and router process, surface treatments, welding, sheet metal, milling etc.

Actively participate in continuous learning programs and development activities, including training programs and bring learnings to our team by hosting workshops or mentoring team members.

Skills/Experience we’re looking for:

Expertise and proficient in CAD software Solid Edge to manipulate and creating single and assembly parts, schematics, drawings and bill of materials.

Knowledge in ASME Y14.5 for drawing dimensioning.

Team Center PLM management and all related to release workflow process.

Skills in manufacturing process like laser cut for flat bar and profiles, wood, sheet metal, welding, surface treatments, furniture fittings etc.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly.

Ability to train and mentor less experienced employees.

Ability to work both independently and collaborative in a team environment.
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant experience in a CAD designer role, SOLID EDGE is a plus.

5+ Using Engineering PLM systems, Team center is a plus.

5+ years of experience in product development R&D areas.
