The Fire Protection Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, compliance, and reliability of fire protection systems across multiple company sites. This role will lead fire protection audits, evaluate compliance with applicable NFPA standards and local regulations, support the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), and manage the technical evaluation and procurement process for new fire protection systems and upgrades.
The position serves as a subject matter expert in fire protection engineering and works closely with site leadership, maintenance teams, EHS professionals, operations personnel, contractors, insurers, and external consultants to reduce fire risks and enhance business resilience.
- Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic or HSE Engineering
- 3-5+ Years Of Experience in HS&S, risk management or industrial safety roles, preferably in insurance companies, manufacturing or the automotive industry.
- Advanced English Skills
- Strong knowledge of: NFPA Codes and Standards, including but not limited to:
NFPA 13 – Installation of Sprinkler Systems. NFPA 20 – Fire Pumps NFPA 25 – Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems. NFPA 72 – Fire Alarm Systems NFPA 101 – Life Safety Code. NFPA 1 – Fire Code Fire suppression and detection systems.
