YOUR TASKS
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Product Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating product design activities throughout the development lifecycle and running programs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, technical specifications, quality expectations, project timelines, and cost targets.
This role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical/product design, CAD development, tolerance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative and manufacturable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Clarify and define customer design requirements from customer project specifications and develop robust and reliable product design. Ensuring product design comply with customer and legal requirements.

Evaluate and select materials, standards, and manufacturing solutions.

Review and validate engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee design activities throughout the product development process.

Define geometric tolerances and perform tolerance analysis (GD&T).

Coordinate design reviews with Process Planning, Quality Planning, Laboratory, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.

Support quotation, concept and detailed design, support cost estimation and operation DFM.

Participate from Supllier sourcing, APQP, Technical reviews, PPAP approval and follow up to be ready for PV

Active collaboration with Quality, Operations/Manufacturing, PjMs, Test Validation Teams, Systems for new development and current serial production products.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Product Design Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

+8 years of experience in product development and device design within an automotive, lighting, electronics, or manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in CAD design tools (CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or similar).

Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Experience with tolerance stack-up analysis and engineering simulations (FEA).

Understanding of Design FMEA and product development processes.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, die casting, and assembly operations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams.

Strong communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in automotive lighting or electronic device development.

Knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, and quality planning methodologies.

Familiarity with gear train design and mechanical transmission.

Knowledge and understanding of electrical DC / BLDC motor design, construction and validation.

Experience coordinating suppliers and external engineering service providers.
