- Do you hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field?
- Do you have experience working with suppliers in quality assurance, supplier development, manufacturing, or sourcing environments?
- Are you familiar with supplier qualification, auditing, quality control plans, and continuous improvement methodologies?
- Do you have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality?
- Are you able to assess supplier capabilities and identify risks through gap analyses, audits, and process evaluations?
- Do you have knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, corrective action processes, quality management systems, and supplier performance metrics?
- Are you comfortable participating in supplier negotiations and ensuring supplier quality commitments are clearly defined and maintained?
- Do you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive corrective and preventive actions?
- Are you able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing?

As our Supplier Quality Engineer , you will play a key role in ensuring supplier quality across KONE's products and services by supporting supplier selection, qualification, development, and performance management activities. You will work closely with Sourcing and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quality, technical, and business requirements are effectively incorporated into supplier management processes.
You will assess potential suppliers through audits, gap analyses, and qualification activities while driving supplier development initiatives to continuously improve performance and quality outcomes. You will be responsible for monitoring supplier quality metrics, managing supplier qualification documentation, validating performance measurements, and ensuring compliance with KONE's quality, safety, environmental, and sourcing requirements.
In this role, you will lead supplier audits, identify corrective and development actions, assess supplier process risks through FMEA methodologies, and establish appropriate supplier Quality Control Plans. You will also contribute to the achievement of KONE Supplier Excellence objectives by ensuring that suppliers consistently meet performance expectations and support KONE's commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions to customers worldwide.
