About BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking in Mexico
BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking has had a representation office in Mexico since 1966. Since then BNP Paribas has played an important role in financing Mexico’s development into the 21st century. BNP Paribas was one of the founders of Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex), one of Mexico’s largest banks, at the end of the 19th century, and stayed as a minority shareholder until the nationalization of the banking system in 1982. BNP was first established in Mexico more than half a century ago also acting as an important shareholder in Banco del Atlántico until 1982
BNP Paribas Mexico is expanding and has started operating in 2021 a full-fledged Mexican bank to better serve its clients through local operations performing local and global markets activities. Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide expertise in the deployment, development and local alignment of fixed variable pay programs
Recommend and implement best practice Compensation and Benefits strategies in Mexico, aligned to regional and global guidelines
Advise executive and business leaders on a full range of strategic and tactical Compensation issues
Support the Annual HR Budget Process
Conduct high visibility special projects that support strategic HR initiatives (support to the implementation of new global HR systems in Mexico)
Research, recommend and document pay programs applied locally, assuring adherence to local government and labor laws
Perform complex cost impact analyses and prepare special analyses, studies, and recommendations on subjects such as policies, variable compensation, bonus plans, mandatory profit-sharing programs (PLR), benefits and other recognition programs
Conduct benchmarks/market pricings using job description and manager interviews
Support HR and Finance team on the conduction of the yearly budget process
Assure the required governance is followed on approvals related to Rewards movements
Coordinate the International Mobility activities for inbound, outbound professionals
Provide leadership with HR KPIs and demographics
Represent the area in key industry forums
Other activities as needed
