Quote from Hiring Manager This role will act as the Country Sr. Credit Analyst reporting into the Credit, Collections, Cash Application (CCCA) regional Process Owner as part of the Global Business Solutions (GBS) team.
The Country Senior Credit Analyst will collaborate with the Global CCCA team and internal stakeholders to optimize customer credit and collections. This involves strategically balancing credit exposure to drive business growth while implementing effective strategies to minimize financial losses. The role also includes analyzing and reporting on key collection metrics such as DSO, customer aging, bad debt, and high-risk accounts.
Meaningful Work From Day One The Country Senior Credit Analyst ensures timely collection and accurate application of customer payments, collaborating with the Global and Regional CCCA team on analyses, providing insights, addressing customer requests, and delivering expert advice. Prepares and presents current portfolio overviews to internal stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and assess bad debt exposure. Evaluates credit risk and determines credit lines by analyzing financial information, credit agency reports, and other pertinent data.
What You Can Expect
Leads CCCA activities for US and serves as Country representative managing a $2.2B portfolio
Support Regional CCCA team for credit and collections expertise across the organization
Monitor customer accounts receivable by accessing customer payment information
Report any significant past due in the AR and/or any situation that could have an impact on the financial information, and report any significant delay in commercial debt payments
Responsible for EFT collections to ensure receipt of automatically -drafted payments from US distributors.
Research and resolve deductions from customer payments by collaborating with various internal teams (commercial/sales/finance/supply chain).
Responsible for monthly account reconciliations and other monthly quarterly reports.
Manual orders released in case of: cash in advance, past due customers, and credit lines exhausted.
Maintain customer master records under policy, management, and maintenance.
Active participation in CCCA-related projects and process improvement, and automation
Credit line determination and risk evaluation based on the analysis of the financial information and credit agency reports, in accordance with the Global Credit Policy.
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
7+ years in credit and collections
Proactive, engaged leader who is flexible, strategic, excels at building relationships, makes solid decisions, and is able to work under pressure
Solid communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence
Experience in SAP (or other ERP) and high proficiency in Excel (functions, pivot tables, etc.)
Knowledge of accounting, credit analysis, financial metrics, legal and tax regulations, collection processes, and claim and payment processes.
