Role Responsibilities:

Provide engineering support for field quality issues reported, offering effective solutions to improve product quality with a competitive cost in a timely manner.
Provide factory support regarding product engineering and design fabricated in commercial manufacturing plants under our operative system Cx.
Maintain the accuracy of engineering information, update and manage the master Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, and engineering specifications.
Lead and execute mid to high-complexity programs with minimal supervision/direction.
Performed engineering test and qualification plan for product improvements.
Secure and keep agency reports for Commercial products under UL and ETL.
Actively participated in product design reviews alongside other project team members and key stakeholders.
Develop and maintain standard products that are world-class, safe and cost-competitive.
Provide professional and technical assistance for troubleshooting product support and guidance.
Participate in defining technical requirements as needed.
Drives improvements base on end-user experience and performs corrective actions for field issues and product testing.
Develop and test structures and/or materials and their related fabrication processes for use in engineering designs.
Work with product management team to develop and introduce new product options as standard product.
Develop computer models to simulate system and component performance.

Role Purpose:

Product lab certification.
AHRI, UL and ETL agency certifications

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years as a Product/Design engineer.
5 years working with product change implementation.
5 years as design engineer.
Knowledge in design processes and tools.
Heat Transfer and Fluids Flow.
Thermodynamics.
Technical knowledge in HVAC equipment and applications, Electricity, Electronics, Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Project management.
Parametric design / engineering.
Organizational skills.
Multicultural leadership.
Focus on results.
Self-starter.
Fluent in English (90%).
