M&A Senior Account Developer

As an M&A Senior Account Developer, you will partner with corporate clients, investors, legal advisors, and transaction specialists to identify risks, design tailored solutions, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
This full-time hybrid position is based in Mexico City and offers the opportunity to work with leading organizations across industries while developing your expertise in one of the most dynamic areas of risk management and financial advisory.
What the day will look like
You will work closely with clients, insurers, advisors, and internal specialists to identify opportunities, manage transactional risks, and deliver customized solutions that support successful M&A transactions. Every day will combine business development, client relationship management, strategic consulting, and market engagement.

Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and secure new opportunities within the mergers and acquisitions market.

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, investment banks, law firms, and other key stakeholders involved in M&A transactions.

Analyze transaction-related risks and assess client needs to recommend tailored insurance and surety solutions.

Partner with internal teams, including broking, legal, claims, and underwriting specialists, to structure and implement customized risk transfer programs.

Negotiate with insurers and surety providers to obtain optimal coverage terms and conditions for clients.

Prepare and deliver compelling commercial proposals and presentations to senior decision-makers.

Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging transactional risk solutions relevant to the M&A landscape.

Represent Aon at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities.

Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and growth objectives for the assigned portfolio.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of three years of experience in business development, sales, insurance brokerage, investment banking, M&A advisory, consulting, or related financial services.

Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions transactions and their associated risk management considerations.

Knowledge of transactional risk insurance products, including Representations & Warranties (W&I/RWI), Contingent Liability, Tax Liability Insurance, or similar solutions.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development or sales objectives.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to establish credibility and develop long-term relationships with executive-level clients and partners.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and highly results-driven mindset.

Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.

Availability to travel as needed.
