Responsibilities
Ensure that HSE policies are followed.
Drive data-based process control by implementing measurable process data, including IMPC and Mattec.
Ensure processes and the environment are stable, optimizing the delivery of predictable results.
Participate in new product/process launches (tool validation, process development).
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with injection molding machines, such as Engel, Husky, Haitian, or equivalent equipment.
Experience with robot programming, operation, and troubleshooting, including brands such as KUKA, Fanuc, SEPRO, or similar automation systems.
Knowledge of plastic resins and material processing, including engineering and commodity resins such as ABS, ASA, SABIC materials, Hifax, LYB, and related compounds.
Understanding of various injection molding technologies and processes, including sequential injection, conventional injection, gas-assisted molding, overmolding, and other advanced molding techniques.
Experience operating and troubleshooting auxiliary injection molding equipment, such as chillers, dryers, blenders, FlexFlow systems, hot runner controllers, Frigel systems, and related peripherals.
Knowledge of SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) methodologies and cycle time optimization techniques to improve productivity and process efficiency.
Strong expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving injection molding defects and process-related quality issues.
Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement tools, including A3, 8D, PDCA, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Ability to support process optimization, equipment performance improvements, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives within a high-volume production environment.
