We recognize the need to enhance our IT department’s capabilities and efficiency. To achieve this, we propose hiring a part-time intern who will contribute to various IT tasks and projects. This intern will work closely with our team members, gaining valuable hands-on experience while providing essential support.
- Help Desk Support:
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Assist with software installations and updates.
- Provide basic hardware support (e.g., printer setup, password resets).
- Assist with computer build and setup (Windows and Linux)
- Network Administration:
- Assist in maintaining network infrastructure.
- Assist with monitoring network performance and security.
- Assist with user access management.
- Review vulnerability scans and recommendations for remediation.
- Assist with employee onboarding of IT systems.
- System Maintenance:
- Review routine system backups and assist with troubleshooting.
- Update system documentation.
- Assist in maintaining servers and workstations.
- Security:
- Assist with incidents and alerts.
- Assist with security scans and remediations
- Project Support:
- Collaborate on IT projects (e.g., system upgrades, software implementations).
- Conduct research and provide recommendations.
- Enrollment:
- Currently enrolled in an IT-related program (associate’s or bachelor’s degree) preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions independently.
