Plant Director - MX
The Plant Director oversees all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity, providing leadership and developing strategic plans.
Main Responsabilities
Directs and coordinates the operations of the plant within the company's policies and guidelines.
Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchases, production, and shipping.
Select and train the supervisory and administrative staff of the plant.
Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills.
Conduct employee performance reviews.
Ensure the maintenance of a clean and safe plant.
Communicate with all levels of personnel through strong interpersonal skills.
Attend training and corporate meetings.
Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
Communicate any deviation, problem, and/or abnormality with the equipment, processes, and products.

Requirements
10+ Years – Experience in the field or similar manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in root cause analysis, Pareto Analysis, and basic problem-solving tools.
Proven experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Solid background in safety, quality, and food safety culture, including SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards.
Track record of managing operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on productivity, throughput, quality, and overall operational performance.
Advanced English language proficiency (written and spoken).
Availability for full-time schedule flexibility and willingness to work on-site in the State of Mexico (Estado de México).
Travel is required up to 20% of his time.
