Main Goal
Reporting to the Head of Sales for Latin America, you will be responsible for defining and executing the regional commercial strategy for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean (MECC).
As General Manager, you will hold full P&L accountability for the region and drive commercial, financial, operational and people performance to achieve sustainable and profitable growth. You will also ensure the highest standards of governance, regulatory compliance and risk management.
You will work closely with regional and global HM.CLAUSE teams as well as other Limagrain Vegetable Seeds Business Units to maximize value creation across the region.
Job description
Act as Managing Director and legal representative for Mexico and Guatemala, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and stakeholder representation.
Define and execute the regional strategy across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean to drive sustainable growth, market share, and profitability.
Hold full P&L accountability, delivering revenue, margin, cash flow, inventory, and operational performance targets.
Lead, develop, and optimize a high-performing organization through effective leadership, talent management, succession planning, and resource allocation.
Drive commercial and operational excellence across Sales, Product Development, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Quality functions.
Translate corporate strategy into actionable business plans, fostering a customer-centric, performance-driven culture while managing risk, business continuity, and the Principles of Care.
In this role, you will be fully accountable for the strategic direction, business performance and governance of the MECC region while building a sustainable, high-performing organization.

What we expect of you
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required.
Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of management and leadership experience with full P&L accountability. Experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred, though candidates from comparable industries will also be considered.
Strong commercial background, ideally in vegetable seeds or a closely related industry, managing a broad crop portfolio.
Experience leading diverse domestic and export businesses; Key Account Management (KAM) and export expertise are highly preferred.
Knowledge of the Mexican market and its segmentation is an asset; legal representative experience is a plus.
