As our Industry Sales Manager (ISM), you are responsible for reaching the commercial targets agreed in the Mexico region. Works in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Director, Commercial Senior Manager, Agents, Product Specialists, and the Sales Operations teams in Latam and Netherlands.
The ISM has in-depth poultry process knowledge and uses this knowledge to determine the best processing solution based on customer needs that result in developing and selling (complex) solutions.
JBT Marel’s customer span from plants with only one or a few JBT Marel machines up to full processing plants with millions of Euros daily revenue. Same for all our customers is that when they need us, we are there for them.
In this position, you will be reporting to the Commercial Senior Manager .
Location of the office is in Mexico. Candidate can live in Mexico-City, or depending on the candidate hybrid in nearby the poultry industry. In case of hybrid, visits to the office are expected.
On a daily basis, you will:
- Be responsible for creating opportunities opportunities for the entire Poultry division product portfolio; from stand-alone systems up to complete complex solutions, including Greenfield projects and software solutions.
- Participate in the process of establishing and implementing a structural industry market plan within the region.
- Drive the sales of capital goods; justify their value and increase Marel’s market share year on year while meeting customer requirements.
- Analyze customer needs and offer the best solution.
- Responsible for visit reports, opportunity registration and follow-up;
- Participate and support the organization in commercial activities such as exhibitions, in our Demonstration Center (Democenter based in Campinas - Brazil), and other events.
- Collect information on competitors’ activities, installed base, requirements and developments.
- Required to meet KPI (Key Product Indicators) goals with sales and margins.
- Organize and plan the equipment tests required by Sales Department.
To be successful you:
- Need minimum a bachelor’s degree in business or mechanical, mechatronic engineering, or similar;
- Relevant experience in outside business-to-business sales of technical/ mechanical systems and equipment.
- Excellent communicator.
- Fluent English language is mandatory.
- Availability for national and international trips up to 60% of the time;
- Home based – around Mexico City.
