Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement solutions that enhance system functionality and user experience.
- Develop and maintain documentation for desktop support processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement to optimize operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all desktop support activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage hardware and software procurement and inventory.
- Implement security measures to protect company data and systems from unauthorized access and threats.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored support solutions.
- Drive initiatives to enhance user satisfaction and productivity through innovative support practices.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in desktop support with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues with a focus on desktop systems.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and system management principles.
- Show experience in leading and mentoring a team to achieve high performance and service standards.
- Display knowledge of security protocols and best practices to safeguard company data.
- Demonstrate good experience with Asset Lifecycle activities.
- Have 2 -3 years of experience using SCCM, Intune, Autopilot.
