As an EHS Generalist, you will help improve environmental, health, and safety excellence across one or more sites. You will support compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture focused on safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement. You will report to EHS Chief and you will rotate shifts.
Key Responsibilities
You will implement, maintain, and improve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and procedures.
You will monitor compliance with applicable EHS regulations, permits, and company requirements.
You will conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
You will investigate incidents, determine causes, and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
You will maintain EHS records, reports, permits, and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
You will partner with site leadership and teams to promote safe work practices and environmental stewardship.
You will deliver EHS training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
You will support internal audits and regulatory inspections and help address audit findings.
You will monitor EHS performance metrics and recommend actions to improve safety and environmental results.
You will assist with construction-related permits, documentation, and audit activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety roles.
Working knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience maintaining regulatory and compliance documentation.
