Are you a highly skilled developer with a passion for quality, automation, and Python? SATVEN is seeking a Python Automation Engineer (Python) to join our dynamic and growing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing robust test automation frameworks for complex engineering projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive CI/CD maturity, ensure exceptional software reliability, and champion automated testing best practices.
What You'll Do
- Framework Design: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks from scratch using Python.
- Test Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python-based automation scripts for API, UI, integration, and system testing.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases.
- Code Quality: Actively participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high-quality standards for automation code.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, developers, and QA stakeholders to define testing requirements, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Optimization: Debug, optimize, and enhance existing test suites to minimize execution time and eliminate flaky tests.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Python Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python development, with a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Automation Mastery: Proven track record in test automation using frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or Selenium/Playwright.
- API Testing: Demonstrated experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices (e.g., using Python requests library or Postman).
- Tools & Version Control: Proficiency with Git/GitHub and a solid understanding of CI/CD concepts (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Mindset: Excellent problem-solving abilities, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for software quality.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Automotive Domain Experience: Familiarity with automotive standards, protocols, or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing environments.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Containerization: Experience using Docker for managing test environments.
- Performance Testing: Experience with performance or load testing tools like Locust or JMeter.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
