British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a RGM Pricing Strategy Executive in Heredia, Costa Rica.
The Pricing Strategy Executive will work alongside its US and MX colleagues to develop tools that help shape the company’s Pricing (Investment/Discounting) Strategy to deliver the company’s objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and wants to leverage these capabilities to produce business-focused deliverables. A strong interest in learning the commercial and financial reasoning behind business strategies is desired.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Support & develop analysis using commercial, consumer, & financial data (Databricks / PySpark), integrating consumer, commercial, and financial data.

Reinforce the transition of Excel-based workflows into Databricks and Power BI. Build automated pricing and performance reporting through scalable data models, DAX measures, and DirectQuery connections to enable timely decision-making across the team.

Assist in scenario modelling for quarterly promotion planning, incorporate what-if simulations, and constrained optimization to balance margin, volume, and compliance trade-offs.

Work regularly with U.S stakeholders to align on business assumptions, document methodologies, and support automation opportunities across teams.

Support deployment of models and pipelines using Databricks Workflows/Jobs, Delta Live Tables, and robust data validation frameworks to ensure production-grade reliability.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree required, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.

1 to 2 years of professional experience, at least 1+ years in data science / engineering, revenue management, pricing, with emphasis on FMCGs is desirable.

Experience in process automation & analysis of large-scale data sets. Familiarity with basic machine learning frameworks (regression / decision trees) preferred.

Use of data visualization platforms and development of dashboards & data models (Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.

Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Time management skills with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines and deliverables. Ability to communicate technical information in a consolidated and straightforward way.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders both virtually and physically in the office.

Be able to design independently and deliver E2E analytics solutions / outcomes per specification.

Proficiency using Databricks, and the ability to quickly learn and use cloud-based third-party applications.
