The Role
We're looking for someone who enjoys being both creative and hands-on.
As a Video Editor / Content Specialist at BIGO LIVE, you'll help turn ideas, campaigns and live-streaming initiatives into content that is ready to publish and execute. Some days you'll be editing a video; other days you'll be preparing assets for a campaign, helping with a livestream, coordinating with different teams or supporting an event.
This isn't a role where you'll spend 100% of your time editing videos. We're looking for someone who is comfortable moving between content creation, production support and day-to-day execution.
You'll be part of our Americas team and work closely with Project Managers and other internal teams to make sure content initiatives actually get delivered.
What Your Day-to-Day May Look Like
Your responsibilities will vary depending on current campaigns and business priorities. You may:
- Edit short-form videos and other digital assets for social, livestreaming and promotional purposes.
- Prepare visual materials for campaigns, special events and platform activities.
- Record screens, basic livestream content and other material needed for ongoing initiatives.
- Assist with livestream preparation, including visual assets, setup and production support.
- Help bring promotional ideas to life by turning project requirements into ready-to-use content.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and other teams to understand priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Keep track of multiple tasks at the same time and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Follow up with internal teams, creators or external partners when information or assets are needed.
- Support online campaigns as well as occasional offline events and productions.
- Help monitor content-related activities and report progress when necessary.
- Identify potential delays or problems early and communicate them before they become bigger issues.
- Take on new projects and responsibilities as priorities evolve.
In short: you'll help make things happen.
We need someone who can receive a brief, understand what needs to be done, create or coordinate the necessary materials and take the project through to completion.
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
You don't need to be a senior filmmaker or a motion-design expert.
What matters most is that you are resourceful, organized and comfortable working with digital content.
You should have:
- Previous experience with video editing, digital content, social media, content production, livestreaming or a similar environment.
- Practical experience using at least one editing or creative platform. This could include Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva or a comparable tool.
- A good understanding of basic video editing and digital content production.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines.
- The ability to manage several tasks without losing track of priorities.
- A proactive approach: if something is unclear, missing or delayed, you don't simply wait for someone else to notice it.
- The ability to work independently while staying aligned with a larger team.
- Strong communication skills in both English (minimum 80% speaking) and Spanish.
- Genuine interest in social platforms, digital entertainment, livestreaming and online communities.
- Flexibility to adapt when priorities change.
Extra points if you have experience with:
- Livestream platforms or streaming production.
- Mobile applications or digital consumer products.
- Creators, influencers, streamers or online communities.
- Event production or event coordination.
- Graphic design, motion graphics or animation.
- Content operations or campaign execution.
- Key Account Management, particularly within financial services or insurance.
This Role Could Be a Good Fit If...
You enjoy variety.
You're comfortable switching between creative work and operational tasks. You can edit a video in the morning, help prepare a livestream later in the day and coordinate a campaign deliverable afterward.
You're also someone who doesn't need to be constantly reminded about deadlines.
If you see a problem, you try to solve it.
If something is missing, you follow up.
If priorities change, you adjust.
That mindset is just as important to us as your editing skills.
