A Mexican company specializing in vertical residential construction is looking for a talented professional like you to join our team as a:
Effectively manage cost engineering processes, as well as the administration and control of financial and material resources throughout the construction project. The role is also responsible for quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and budget control.

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction.

Availability to travel frequently to Miami.

Valid passport and U.S. visa.

Advanced English proficiency is required.

Strong knowledge of parametric construction budgeting, detailed cost analysis, quantity takeoffs, preparation of construction quantity reports and work volumes, budget supervision, and construction budget planning and coordination.

Experience working and negotiating with suppliers and contractors.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, OPUS, and Neodata.

Experience using construction estimating and budgeting software.
-
Strong negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and contractors.
-
Conduct price comparisons for construction materials, supplies, and/or services.
-
Attend and participate in meetings with clients and suppliers.
-
Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for project scopes to be subcontracted.

Review bidding requirements for private tenders and participate in supplier selection and awarding processes.
-
Prepare and analyze technical bid comparisons for tender processes.
-
Review supplier quotations, budgets, cost estimates, and construction quantity reports.

Prepare and consolidate project budgets.
-
Manage and follow up on the reconciliation of prices and quantities with contractors and suppliers for both materials and services.

Maintain regular communication and follow up with suppliers.

Search for, support the qualification process of, and onboard new materials and service suppliers.
-
Supervise the allocation of travel expense resources and monitor project-related travel expenses to identify potential budget deviations.

Review progress payment estimates and authorize releases in accordance with approved baseline budgets.

Analyze budget variances and develop value engineering proposals.

Manage, coordinate, and control construction projects throughout the planning, execution, and closeout phases.

Prepare and review construction schedules and logistics plans.
-
Manage the administrative closeout of construction projects.
-
Salary based on experience.

Monday through Friday work schedule.

Working hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
