The Job:
We are seeking a highly capable, strategic, and exceptionally polished Executive Assistant to support the VP, Latin America Manufacturing . This leader is responsible for manufacturing operations across plants in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina , and requires a trusted partner who can operate with urgency, discretion, sound judgment, and a high level of professionalism.
This role is ideal for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and can anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and create structure in a complex regional business setting.
The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to the VP, enabling focus on strategic priorities by ensuring seamless coordination of calendar, travel, communications, meetings, and follow-through across the organization.
- Manage an extremely active, complex, and constantly shifting calendar, prioritizing critical business needs while protecting time for strategic focus.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, agendas, supporting materials and travel expenses
- Ensure the VP is fully prepared for upcoming meetings, travel, decisions, and commitments through proactive planning and timely follow-up.
- Partner closely with the VP’s direct reports and key stakeholders to track action items, meeting follow-ups, and deliverables to completion.
- Support the rhythm of the business by coordinating leadership meetings, staff meetings, operating reviews, and other core business cadences, ensuring logistics and materials are prepared in advance.
- Build strong working relationships across functions and geographies to facilitate efficient communication, alignment, and execution.
- Handle highly confidential information and sensitive matters with the utmost discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
- Draft, edit, and format high-quality correspondence, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other executive materials.
- Support PowerPoint development, Excel-based data organization, and chart creation for business reviews and leadership presentations.
- Complete and manage Concur expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve administrative processes, streamline workflows, and increase executive effectiveness.
- Partner with Executive Assistants across the organization to resolve scheduling conflicts and coordinate efficiently across senior leaders.
- Manage and Coordinate logistic arrangements for visits from high level Executives and Government officials.
- Prioritize multiple competing demands, respond with urgency, and ensure flawless execution under tight deadlines and changing business conditions.
The Person:

- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with a significant amount of that time supporting leader for a publicly traded, global company
- Impeccable communicator and representative for Stanley Black & Decker, both in verbal and written communication. Professional and positive demeanor and executive presence
- Expert Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, experience with travel systems and expense reimbursement procedures
- Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong and independent decision-making capability
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
- Excellent analytical, time-management, and project management skills. High degree of attention to detail while also being tenacious with execution are critical elements to success in role
- Superb interpersonal skills and working in a complex, matrixed organization
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Experience
- English Fluency, Portuguese knowledge a plus
