Are you ready to shape the future of one of the world's leading transformer businesses? At Hitachi Energy, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven leader to oversee Materials Management operations across two manufacturing facilities in Reynosa, Mexico.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will drive the end-to-end materials strategy, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), material planning and procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics. Your expertise will directly support the delivery of critical electrical infrastructure that powers communities and industries around the globe.

How you'll make an impact
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to balance customer demand, production capacity, and business objectives.
Drive material planning and procurement strategies to ensure uninterrupted production and optimal supplier performance.
Oversee master production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity management, and execution monitoring.
Develop and execute inventory strategies that support operational goals while improving accuracy and control.
Lead warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and logistics activities to support efficient material flow.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity and reduce waste.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve operational challenges and improve performance.
Collaborate across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and leadership teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibilities within materials, supply chain, or operations functions.
Experience leading planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
Strong ERP system experience, preferably within production planning and materials management modules.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive decision-making within a global value chain.
Strong analytical, communication, project leadership, and Microsoft Excel skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
