Job Summary

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Planner Scheduler located in Tijuana.

The Planner Scheduler role involves in charge of helping materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.

What a typical day looks like:

Prepare production plans. Monitor and track the production plan.
Track material inventory.
Create work orders.
Generate loading reports.
Generate shipping plans.
Track metrics.
Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential interruptions.
Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Engineering or Bachelor degree.
Intermediate-advanced English.
Problem-solving skills. Organized.
Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Data analysis skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
MRP knowledge.
Understanding of supply and demand.
BOM interpretation.
Ability to present recovery plans.
